Sell both and buy a Glock 19. Glock 17 if you don't plan to CCW.

Which will get you the most money?
However if you don't really need the money don't sell either
          You'll inevitably regret selling it.

Shields are a dime a dozen. You could always re-buy one later. Keep the Glock.

Sell the shield for a fair price and then buy a full size pistol or a rifle. Keeping both is the best option, besides keeping glock and buying another gun you like more than the shield

Switched my EDC CCW from a shield to a G43. Going to switch back to the shield. Better ergonomics and despite what they say, Glocks actually do malfunction. Thought I would get used to the Glock 43and love Glocks, but after about 1k rounds, I still don't shoot it as well as the shield due to grip ergos. It's not a unicorn, it's just a gun.

Sell them both and buy a 1911. Real men shoot .45's anyway.

Selling handguns in CA is stupid, especially if they are off-roster, unless you are exempt. The list will only shrink.

The Glock has no external safety lever outside of the trigger. The Shield does. Is your experience/training such that you know (or will know after getting experience/training) that you can engage and disengage the Shield's safety lever without fail?

To put it another way do you want/need the external safety lever that the Shield has for your stated application?
