Conundrum, which one to keep?

I'm in a bit of a conundrum and want opinions from those that possess far more expertise than I do (read: everyone here)

I have a brand new Glock 43, which I have yet to even remove from the case (although I have put about 200 rounds downrange in a friend's G43) and I have a fairly new M&P Shield 9mm (off roster version) which I have put about 500 rounds downrange.

I like both, and for my limited needs (home defense, range fun from time to time), either will serve the purpose. And no, I don't need to keep 2 guns that are basically the same.

So, what should I do?

1. Keep the Shield, sell the G43
2. Keep the G43, sell the Shield

I honestly like them both the same. There is not any one thing that one has over the other that makes me have to keep it.

And there is another answer anyways. Especially when dealing with home defense...

Off-roster Shield goes for ~$650 on this forum. The Glock 43 I've seen listed for ~$800. Really depends on which you like more.

Good point. I will have to go back and look at my old paper but I'm pretty sure they're about the same. In a self defense situation, anything within 2-3 inches of center mass at less than 10 yards is going to be sufficient anyways.

The shield shoots better at speed. That said I sold mine because I tend to shoot the G19 more and like the G43 for similarity

Are you roster exempt? If not, I would keep the G43.

If you are, keep the shield.
