Agree on this. Just it's usually better buying ammo and increasing skill that way vs chasing aftermarket improvements.

Way even if you still don't like it you can always get a aftermarket trigger and you're just down the cost of the connector.

Glock triggers are perfectly fine after sufficient break in.

However, gentle polishing of the trigger friction surfaces greatly improves feel with little cost or minimum effort...

Personally wouldnt like a 3# trigger on a gun without a manual safety.

Factory with a few thousand rounds is good.

Although, not all factory triggers are the same.

My wife's Gen 3 26 has a much better teiggee than my same Gen 3 26.

Only an OEM (-) connector. Install in 90 seconds.

Here's the problem with 10MM Glocks and light triggers:

When shooting hot ammo the recoil " might " cause a double, because the
Backward/forward Jerk causes your finger to pull the trigger again. This is not an issue with normal 10MM but those really Max Loads it has happened to me. Rarely but enough that I removed the after market connector.

Learn to run the gun as it came out of the box. Just my opinion,

              Be well
              Bob.

So ba aware of this potential issue.

I've seen a lot of unit to unit variation on this as well, plus they've been erring on the side of "heavy" rather than "light" so putting in a minus connector might just put him back at the theoretical 5.5 # factory pull he was supposed to have in the first place.

Hope I get a response on this as it's in the middle of another thread. I have a glock 19 in fde ( slide and lower) and wanted to switch the top out with a black 19..has anyone heard or experienced problems or does anyone see any issues as the lower, barrel and slide all have the same serial number?

As long as same gen you can swap and mix and match to your hearts content

I've done a bit of Glock trigger work (polishing, swaping out trigger return springs, and connectors).

Short answer: The minus connector plus a polishing job works pretty well.

I'd avoid messing with the striker spring. It'll lead to incomplete (and unsafe) trigger return. You'll have to put a more pronounced bend in the connector to get the trigger bar to fully come forward.

I have done a couple of my glocks with the Glock minus connecter and polish job. It's all that needs to be done in my opinion.

Igotcha, I was thinking about the registration aspect of it as well if I were to ever sell one version or the other would the mix matched numbers cause any confusion or flags from doj?

The Glockstore tricked mine out for free & while I waited. I bought a spring kit & connector & got styled up. I polished the feedramp, they did the trigger group. I've also bought a few Glocks & know them a bit. I was taught (& shown) to keep the anti seize on the connector & leave it alone, on no uncertain terms, some stick after being polished.

Whatever you do, if you're not sure (as you suggested possibly sending it out) have a pro do it. I prefer mine over stock & wouldn't go too far with trigger mods. I've seen the complete replacement mods on guns at the Gstore.

                            Good luck!
Yes I took the pic, no I didn't go swimming!

you dont need to pay an armorer for this..

get the Zev Spring Kit, that should get you to 3lbs with the race connector and a couple of springs.
where in the bay area are you?
