    Thanks. It does take some mods to get it up to this point. It's by far my most favorite to carry. OH and the comment about accuracy. If you get trigger time in you'll do fine. When qualifying for my CCW, I shot it the most accurately from my other guns....but only because I train with it a lot.

      What is the big attraction with 10mm?
      It's the size of a wound cavity this caliber can produce.

      9mm = tap, tap, tap, tap...... tap...............tap.
      10mm = TAP!

              Inherited a G20 and EAA Witness in 10mm. I was a little concerned about recoil, but pleasantly surprised.

              Cali74 I have a Kimber Stainless Target II in 38 super and it is a pleasure to shoot, so I think you'll like the 10mm.

                  Shot my new Glock 29SF today for the first time. Used Armscor as follows:

                  Caliber: 10 MM Auto
                  Bullet Type: Full Metal Jacket Projectile
                  Bullet Weight: 180 Grains
                  Muzzle Velocity: 1008 fps
                  Muzzle Energy: 529 ft/lbs

                  Not the hottest out there, but good range ammo with a nice kick and a nice price.

                  I'm a little "meh" on the Glock coming from shooting Sigs most of the time. I don't hate it, but I think I need a wrap for the grip and I need to do something to the mag release. It's sharp and it sticks out too far...catches my left hand on every shot as the gun travels upward.

                  I tried a few different grips, esp. left thumb forward on the front of the trigger guard (okay) and even left index finger (does nothing)...my best groups came from just my regular stacked-thumbs grip. Overall, I just need to shoot it more, a lot more

                    I bought a g20 yesterday. Been wanting a 10mm for a while and this thread didn't curtail that "want".

                      Picked up an old school g29 with low miles on it.

                      Haven't shot it yet (new baby in the household) but I check this thread regularly to scratch my itch.

                      Thanks for keeping me sane in between feedings.

                              Hey guys I'm new to the 10mm my buddy Chris owner at jttactical.com has talked me in to it he uses his for hunting. I've been using a 44mag... time for a change.

                              Anyway I was reading some posts and there was quite a bit of mention of wanting an optic. Well Chris actually makes a no drill optic mount for glocks and xds he uses it on his g20. It is a good option for people that don't want to cut their slide
