in my early years I made the some mods to my glocks, soon realised they caused problems, after 22 years of shooting glocks I prefer them just way they are made, other then sights its perfection
sigpic I said I didn"t have much use for one, didn"t say I didn"t know how to use it. MATTHEW QUIGLEY

Get a glock brand connector and the vickers slide stop. The mag release you showed is a gimmick and waste of money.

I tend to agree. The only mod I've ever done is add a Glock minus connector to my new G17 gen 3 to see if it matches the G34 gen 4. Seems pretty close and I think I'll leave it in.

edit: there was a thread here a couple months ago where several people reported issues with the Double Diamond connector. No personal experience but you might do a search for that thread.

Agreed. Some sights and call it good.

Thank you all I found everything on ebay for cheaper and went with a OEM glock band connector(MINUS). Which truglo glock sights should I go with?

I think you made a wise choice by getting the OEM "-" connector. I think the reason why that connector is not available on the Glockstore website is because the double diamond connector is made by the owner of the company, and he probably doesn't want the Glock part competing with his. The double diamond connector also does some pretty negative reviews over on Glock Talk.

Couple notes on the mag release since i bought one. While releasing mags was way easy, this is what i encountered.

                        - Uncomfortable - it would press against the palm of my left hand and would create a hot spot.

                        - Annoying - Would not fit some of my holsters without modification.

I went with the Tangodown mag release instead.

I did a search of the sights you mentioned and checked Amazon for them and I scroll down and it says these are restricted items and cannot be shipped to la county. Very upsetting and hard to comprehend.

I think it's all a waste of money. Unless it's for a real problem to be fixed, I'd leave it alone. Just my opinion.

How is the Taran Tactical sight picture vs a defoor or defoor with fiber optic?
