Glock 19 Question

Why does it seem that no one currently has a Glock 19's in stock anywhere and has been that way for some time now?

Does anyone have any ideas why this may be?

I'm guessing people all think it's the new Navy SEAL sidearm and are going crazy over them. I still haven't seen any evidence that this is true. Just a bunch of rumors on forums. I was going to pick one up but as you already know they're all gone in local stores. But I'm happy. I found a Sig 226 TacPac without the stupid LCI. (No I'm not buying it because it's the SEALs gun lol)

Or, a lot of people just wanted the Glock 19 (best Glock IMO) after the Shootings.

I heard Glock is making Gen 3 pistols for California only. I wonder how many of them they are making. Probably not many.

Man it sucks as I have been looking since late December with no luck and have email alerts set at multiple places. Trying to locate one before I have to turn in my CCW application.

Because it's cheap, simple, and it goes "Boom" every time. After mass shootings, terrorist threats, gun control, and general bad news, more and more people want a gun. Cheap and reliable works more than any other reason....and the 19 fits everybody. They aren't buying it "because of the military"

They had them in stock in December when I purchased my XD9 but since I of course had to wait 30 days before the masters will allow me to buy another handgun I guess I miss out.

Haven't you heard its the New SEAL gun?

I just came from a range that sold Three G19s the same day they received them. The guy running the counter told me that everyone he sold to mentioned its a SEAL gun and thats why they are getting it.

If you are looking for one, Coyote Point Armory in Burlingame had some in stock.

I walked into my LGS to order one and he had one in stock. Got lucky I guess.
