Single stack 9mm long barrel recommendations

I'm looking for a single stack 9mm with about a 4" barrel like a Kahr CT or TP9. Being off roster, those two guns are like finding hens teeth so what else is out there for a thin, longer barreled 9mm for CCW?

Might be a little on the heavy side, but how about a commander size 1911 in 9mm?

M&J in Sac have a Para LDA compact in 9mm.
I shot one in Pleasanton, very accurate and LDA trigger is under appreciated.

Disregard whoever was thread crapping, if you went by specs alone you'd never guess that a J frame disappears in pockets and IWB.

My p239 doesn't feel anywhere close to my G23.

                1911, end of discussion.

With a set of Harrison fixed sights and a good iwb holster, I plan on carrying it myself. Concealing a full sized 1911 is really easy for me. However I am 6'2" so maybe I am biased.

I agree with a full size 1911 in 9mm. Here's a pic of my Remsport. Don't know much about it, but it is an excellent pistol. Fit and finish is amazing.

Bow to the inevitable, and get a S&W Shield. On roster, inexpensive, reliable. 3 inch barrel, but thin.

You could try the shield, but I'd go kahr cw9/p9/k9 before I went with the shield. Kahr a just feel great in my hand, YMMV... These 3 are all the same size, very concealable with a 3.5" barrel. Any reason you want a 4"+ barrel for ccw?

My job place is looking at allowing us to carry (public school). I envision my use of a CCW to be one of 25 +/- yds as opposed to 3-5yds so like the idea of a longer barrel. Currently I carry a PF9 and while I shoot it fine out to 7 - 10yds, it (I?) struggle at 10 yds or more.

I'm a big guy at 6'1" and 260lbs so feel like I could carry something a bit longer but want to keep it thin so hence the single stack.
