Their customer service said there is no charge if the problem is due to manufacturing. A loose plunger tube is a manufacturing defect according to kimber. They manned up and took care of me.

Had exact opposite experience with them.

I never had to use Kimber service cause my Kimbers have always worked fine. But, from many years of reading reviews, it is my feeling that Kimber Customer Service is a hit or miss situation at best, much the same as Sig's service.

Hint: if you call and get flak from one Rep, hang up and call the next day. You may get a better reply from a different service Rep.

I sent in my Gold Combat that I purchased in the late 90's, because of failure to extract issues. They replaced the extractor, tuned the gun and replaced the night sights at NO CHARGE!. Total turn around time was 2 weeks, free shipping both ways.

Did you make that acronym up? I've never heard to used before in regards to trigger pull weight.

I bought a Kimber Mountain Ascent rifle and the finish on the stock wore off after 3 days of back packing and the action kept jamming. They sent me a prepaid label and had it back to me in a month. Feed ramp polished with a brand new stock
