Picked up my RIA Map1 FS

So thanks to morrcarr67 and this thread

I now have a RIA Map1 FS! What's that you say? it's basically an tanfoglio witness (imported and installed by the awesome people of Rock Island). Can't believe it was on gunbroker and the price was insane!. Was worried about shipping and dros (never shipped a gun from gunbroker before). 2A zone was awesome at helping me setting it all up.
I have always wanted an EAA Witness so when this came up and was on-list, i had to have it. I have been bitten by the CZ/clones bug hard so this was just one on the bucket list. Here is the pic, range report to follow.

Awesome gun. I am currently looking for one now, they are still listed on the armscor website, but for some reason I am having a hard time locating one through a local FFL.

I know that the range report is coming, but how does the trigger and overall function of the gun feel?

How's the fit compared to CZ?

looks like this one is on hold for some reason. it also looks to be an older model. Doesn't look like it has the same RIA rollmark

Fit feels more like a baby deagle and less like my 75b SA. Trigger to back strap, where the webbing of my hand goes, feels closer.

Trigger feels heavy in da mode and feels just as light and crisp in SA mode. Probably as close to by 75b sa. I don't have a trigger scale but I have read 10lbs in DA and 4lbs in SA. However, nothing is as nice as the deagle trigger.

Quality is Rock Island good with an Italian flare. I like it and it might just be my 3 gun sidearm. Nah, love my 75b SA too much for that.

Oh nice. That is a different one. Looks like the dust cover is shorter or barrel/slide longer? Plus the discription is wrong. Mapp is the polymer lower. Map1 is the all steel. That looks to be an all steel gun in the pic.

                  Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

That looks like the older AP9.
