I run a h2 in my 11.5.

my 7.5 works just fine with 3 oz buffer and normal gas tube

it has strong extractor spring

So I finally got out to testing with the info provided here. It's functional now. Swapped out the buffer spring and put in a H buffer. I didn't have a h2 buffer so I didn't get to try it with that

Carbine buffer is fine if you use an adjustable gas block. That was the most important part of my build, tuning it. It runs flawlessly on all sorts of ammo.
