I had no interest in anything from Kimber prior but now it seems as if they're coming for my pockets

I'm sure Korth won't get their new revolver on the roster . . but there's a chance Kimber will - and I'm sure Kimber's rendition of a revolver will be design-centric

Never owned revoler, but if I were to buy one. It will most likely be from S&W.

Korths are extremely expensive and IMHO not much of a looker. I prefer one of the Wessons be it Smith or Dan.

I wonder where they expect to compete. Colt gave up decades ago leaving ruger and smith as the only mid price options. I can't imagine kimber competing against Taurus at the low end; do they expect to go the boutique route and compete against Dan Wesson?
Check back later for a witty comment.

Would it be too much to ask, that it be a python clone?

                          looks good so far.

the honeycomb flat sides like the Rhino make sense, shaving a few mm from the gun's fattest point

I'd like to see a 45acp snub nose. Shorter 45acp could work great in a snub nose and shorten cylinder, along with hex sides,45ac for CCW.

                          7mm shorter than 38spl
