      factory ammo?
Pistol made a strange noise when shooting (not louder than normal, just a more-muffled report). Blew the mag partially out of the frame and the slide stop lever completely off.

We found the spent case. It had blown a hole in the casehead for about a quarter of the circumference.

There is no apparent damage to the barrel, chamber, or slide.

Ammo was commercial reloads that we have been using for several years without problem.

It might have been a double-charged round, or it might have been that the gun was not fully in battery. And, yes, I know that everyone in their brother will says that a Glock cannot fire if it is out of battery. But there are also a bunch of people (including Ken Hackathorn) who have said that they've seen it happen.
My friends and family disavow all knowledge of my existence, let alone my opinions.
