2-part question about the Sig .22 conversions

Firstly, is the kit exempt from the California laws regarding a wait period and fees and all that? Is it just a cash & carry deal if I get the .22LR conversion kit for one of my Sigs?

Secondly, for future reference, where can I find info like this so I don't end up posting duplicate posts?

SO tired of people that seem intelligent and capable of rational thought blowing that image by somehow not thinking and being a blind, party-line voter, and somehow that is good.

    1) It's a part. The frame of your sig(with the serial number on it) is the firearm. So buy the conversion kit anywhere you want: cash an carry, internet, store, etc.

    2) The search function tends to work okay around here. Sometimes you do have to use the advanced search tab to narrow in on what you are looking for.

Since the question has been answered (correctly) already, Ill just at a big +1 for the .22LR conv. kit.

Picked one up three weeks ago, and have since shot over 1k rounds through it. Without a single FTF/FTE. Amazing accuracy too!

      Enjoy it!

Really glad to hear a good testimony for the kit! I just found the user's manual on PDF online so I read through it. It mentions that the slide doesn't lock back when the mag is empty, and that it requires "hi-velocity" rounds. I'm hoping to be able to feed the basic 500-round boxes of Walmart ammo through the kit, the whole reason I have an appeal for the .22 is the cost advantage. What grade of ammo have you used thus far?

For future searching needs, use Google by typing "site:http://www.calguns.net xxx." This will limit the search to Calguns only, with xxx being whatever you're searching for.
