    XD9's

Is there any particular reason these are so hard to find right now? I went to Guns, fishing in Dublin and they had 1, Solar Tactical in Livermore had none, the other gun store in Livermore had none, TRAP in Tracy (and Brentwood) only had 1 and Bass Pro did not have any.

Guns fishing said that they might be getting more on Tuesday but they are not sure as they are not ordering any more guns until the new year due to roster stuff.

I would really like to find a XD subcompact but I might be up a creek. Any insight is appreciated.

Everyone is buying guns right now and XD's are inexpensive.

I went to a few gun stores today and all the budget AR's and pistols were sold pretty thin.

If you can find one you better buy it, I am currently in my 10 day wait for mine and I had to scour eveyewhere to finally find one myself, they drop off the list as of 1/1/16 and I have heard Springfield is not renewing anything.

This, throw the free mags and bag on top of it and they are pretty scarce.

Excuse my ignorance, but how does ordering online work for CA? Do they ship to a dealer or what?

Where did you hear that about springfield? Why wouldn't they renew?

That's what I have been hearing. And as much as I would like to not believe it, it seems with so many other manufactures doing this that they may as well.

Update I just checked the roster and it seems many of the guns on it have now been bumped to 1/1/17

The gun gets shipped to an FFL of your choosing. You need to shop around for transfer fees though. I know J&R Sports charges $75, and Solar Tactical told me $150 for internet transfers. You will also have to pay Use Tax(Sales Tax)
                        based on what you paid.

For the same reason many other manufactures are not renewing, they are simply tired of dealing with California and the stupid roster.
