Here's a good one.

Sometime this year the DOJ added the "-CA" designation to the Sig Sauer MK-25 listing. Prior to this, you didn't need to pay a premium or go the SSE route to purchase the non-California version. Several pansy ***, overzealous gun shop employees probably called the DOJ so many times asking if the version without the magazine disconnect and chamber indicator was legal to buy in California that the DOJ must have decided to add the "-CA" designation to the roster to clear all doubts. Should have stayed quiet.

So, is CA DOJ telling us that if a gun is no longer on roster that it has become unsafe?

Since the advent of that stupid roster, I've found it amusing that CA DOJ knows better than the US military. Doesn't the US military know that a Series 70 1911A1 is unsafe? Gosh darn it, someone better notify the Secretary of Defense before those darn unsafe guns do something unsafe, like kill bad guys.
