No Longer On Roster

There's been a few threads lamenting the death of SSE (as we knew it) and the pistols no longer within reach without a 2nd mortgage via PPT.

It's also about the pistols dropped from the roster. Handguns, once commonly available, are also now difficult/expensive to acquire.

For me, it's my M&Ps. I bought a FS, liked it then bought a Compact (both 9s). Each was under $500 plus tax/fees at the time.

I don't think they will ever command the kind of prices we read about for VP9s, PPQs, P320s or even Gen4s, but then mine are not for sale.

So what did you buy that was on roster at the time, but is no longer?

Do you still have it? Did you sell? Would you sell it?

Ruger Mk3 is one gun I'm surprised to see how expensive they are now.I'm never selling mine unless I move out of California

....and I don't have .22 to feed it anyways

Picked up an Beretta M9 Commercial last month and I love it.

The VP9s, PPQs, P320s and Gen4s the OP mentions are all priced about the same as our Gen 3 Glocks in nearby Arizona. The exorbitant prices people are asking for them DO NOT make them better guns.

It will only get worse as fewer and fewer guns on roster.

These are expensive only because they never were on the roster to begin with, unlike your M&P's.

I have a MK III Hunter. Wanted it for 3 years. Finally bought it. It went off rostor a few months later (I didn't even know). Almost missed out.
