Usp 45 variant 1

Hello,
Is it possible to covert a usp 45 variant 1, which has a safety lever, to one that doesn't. Ant help would be greatly appreciated.

You can convert it to LEM or DAO, neither triggers have an external safety. With the P2000 or P30 series, you could additionally have DASA without safety since the decocking lever is separate from the safety lever. USP series and HK45 series have one lever for both safety and decock, so you can't do this. I converted my HK45c to light LEM and love it.

I would go LEM also. Takes some getting used to but after that it is great.

All you have to do is change your plate to variant 3 type decock only. Everything else stays the same.

There is type 3 plate you can put in to remove the safety function.

Or you go V7 with the LEM upgrade that is DA only, that is a bit more complex than the changing the control plate.
