I did the transfer at The Gun Range in Sacramento back in January. Pretty sure most FFL's are going to be clueless and just DROS based on the SKU. I wouldn't worry if I were you, if they give you any ****, just throw on a set of stock cocobolo's. If you're near Sac, I have plenty you can borrow.

Yeah I think I will be good. My FFL is really cool. I sent him an email already with the low down. Waiting for his message back. Got plenty of cocobolos just incase.

Hey guys that TRP still has the make an offer deal going. Its listed a tad more today than on Friday. $ 1308.00 Is the price today with the make an offer deal still going. Thats still a good price . Buds was by far the best price. $1450.00 was the second best. SNATCH IT UP.

Sounds like a good price (compared to a LGS) until you add the out-of-state transfer fee, etc. Probably will still save a few dollars but not the windfall many might expect.
