    LODI SCORE

    Hi Guys,

Had a pretty good time today at the Lodi show. Helped my bud at his booth while he went to the head.

There were some good deals to be had. I picked up a NIB Interarms Rossi 971 .357 for $150. 4 inch with wood grips. They're supposedly better than the ones made after the Taurus acquisition of Rossi, but still have the lifetime warranty. I'm happy, make a good Christmas present for the spousal unit.

Others stuff I'm going back tomorrow to look at. Some guys were really dealing to move iron and were relatively local.

    Thanks Mt. Aire guys, PAX

I hope you didn't buy this based on the warranty. Because this gun does NOT have a lifetime warranty.

      Oh, and by the way

      Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

I use to have the same gun. I wish I still had it. I paid more than that 20 years ago by the way.

$150 4 inch .357 NIB is the motivation. I wasn't looking for this. I had a list of stuff for my milsurps that I was after, and ammo.

Better, or comparable to my $200 .357 6 inch Astra (with original box of ammo minus 6 shells), kinda deal. I'm a sucker for a "deal".

I'd been looking for a .357 for the right price, ever since I got rid of a SS Security Six decades ago. Now I've got 2 decent ones for $350. The Astra is used but only had 6 rounds through the pipe when I acquired it.

Picts when it makes bail from Kali jail. PAX

                Good to know.

I would sprained a finger trying to get my money out before the seller changed their mind.

I had an Interarms Rossi model 88 years ago. I loved that gun. It was a great shooter. I wish I still had it.

You did good in picking that one up.

I took a little effort to get the transfer started. It was a PPT from a guy who had a bunch of iron to move, and had a set up with other people for the paperwork. My buddy was right next to him, and I wanted him to do the DROS, in case I ran across other items I couldn't live without. I didn't want multiple application fees. I hesitated on an Black/Chrome Apache for dirt, and it vanished, or I would have added it. I passed on an SVT & a Johnson that the sellers wouldn't budge on. PAX
