      ++ on the Sig SP2022.

Just bought one and love it. I can't believe you can get them in CA for $500 bucks or less. Got mine new for $485 plus fees.

Yeah gun guys, especially online, have a tendency to treat guns like some women treat purses. "OH, that was so last season, this year CZ is the new Glock". Honestly I can remember shooting a CZ for the first time some years ago and being stunned by how ergonomic it felt. I mentioned it on Calguns and it was shouted down as a "commie POS". After all, who would buy a Czechoslovakian gun? And now it seems every other post is from these same guys touting how the CZ is the most refined handgun made today.

That said, here are the guns that I shot that I feel are quite good and yet they get no love.

FN9, really all of the FNH handguns.
        Kahrs. The C & P series.
Ruger SR22 as a training pistol
        45acp for home deffense.
And about any of the Turkish guns.

Could not agree more. I just wish the grip angle worked for my wrists. I've had a p89 and p95 and sold both due to grip angle. Never a problem with either.

I'm not sure if these would be considered overlooked or underrated. Just about every one I know that knows a little about guns owns one or all of these.

I agree the px4 is underrated. It looks kind of funny but you get a lot of gun for the price and the plastic frame is well made. I'll add the kahr cw9 and cw380. Same frame as the p series just one magazine and standard riffling. I think the cw9 is the best gun for concealed carry there is. The grip is the perfect size, just long enough to fit all your fingers on the grip but not so long that it gets caught in your shirt

                          I'll bring up a couple of 22's.

                          Handguns:
Ruger Single Six Convertible. Awesome little pistols.

                          Rifles:
                          Browning SA 22
                          Marlin 39

The 2022 from my experience is reminiscent of the usp compact. I was pretty impressed honestly and I don't like sigs. The ruger p series are ugly tanks and fun to shoot. Lots of good pistols out there few people know about. Someone mentioned Turkish guns my sar k2 is a beast I wish I had two.

                              "Most overlooked underrated gun"

I think it would be the Derringer. Any Caliber. Certainly overlooked and underrated. They're also not expensive or hard to get...outside California...Other than Cobra Enterprises in .22LR & Mag, .32, .38Special

Springfield XD Service. Especially when it's on sale and coupled with Springfield's magazine promotion. A friend got one for $399 and 3 extra magazines for a total of 5. Along with cheap paddle holster and mag pouches.
Don't care for the grip safety, but it's not a deal breaker.
