Its hard.... you gonna get more from someone who really want it.... going to get lot less from someone who is interested, but do not want to pay more than it's worth.
I am guessing you paid over $1k? -
How much do you have into it? Take that and add some to it to make it worth your while.
Hope you're not phishing for people to start pm'ing you with offers like other's have done in the past.
Just post if for sale in the WTS and see what kind of bites you get.Comment

For a Salient pistol? Nope...those have horrible resale. Yes, you will ask yourself how much do you have into it. Then you'll divide that by 2 and you'll be close to what the marketplace will pay.

Most custom handguns get less value because it was made for your liking. Can you post some pictures pleaseComment

Pictures would certainty help, but I can assure you that you wont be pleased with the market value. Unless you find that one select individual in search of the exact configuration you're offering, expect to lose 40% of your investment.Comment

yes the work alone was $2400.
Sorry not trying to phish for offers, but trying to gauge if the number I have in my head is over the top which it seems so, but I guess I could just post it and just wait and see.
Well I'm hoping I can find someone who is already interested in getting a Salient Tier 1 and wants to bypass the waiting period. And being that this is off roster I figured it should be worth a lot more....

That's what I'm hoping for... someone who is looking for this specific build..Comment

With Salient Arms...you will have polar extremes. Those that think they butcher a perfectly working weapon and those that think it's a masterpiece (art-wise and looks). Either way, I think it will be hard sell, especially if you are trying to break even. Forget trying to get more for "off roster."
Good luck.Comment

The easy way is to list it at how much you'd like to get for it, and see what happens.
I have a friend who has one, and wants to sell his, too.Comment

Damn for $3500 I can get a Wilson Combat or Sig X5.
Good luck with the sale dude! You just might find someone who is looking for the exact thing.Comment

This is exactly the sort of firearm I am interested in buying- but I would rather wait and get mine the EXACT way I want it, rather than rush and spend my entire ownership experience thinking, "it's great, but if only...". Unless the price is right- not saying r3tard3d cheap, but a full-custom gun built to someone else's taste at a premium? That's a rough one. If it was slightly below what I would pay for one done to my exact taste... well then, now you've got a guy like me interested.
Having said that, put it up at whatever you hope to get for it in your ideal world, maybe someone will get all stoked and snap it up...
