Calguns, this has been my latest search..the Sig Legion it seems to be the all around go -to Sig. I know it's off roster but anyone have any experience they can add? Any luck locating one and if so what can I expect to pay?

I think you should be fine with a p226. Colion is cool and I like his videos but I'm not buying into the hype.

It's a P226. Just get a P226, order a replacement slide w/o LCI, disable the mag disconnect and drop in an SRT... Got to go for half the price and none of the hastle. SIG has a long history of marketing different models to the fan boys. I'll be buried with mine, but can't buy into this need to improve the p226 as a combat firearm.

I handled one at a local gun store in Salt Lake City. The trigger under cut makes a difference. The trigger is good, the reset is awesome. It's amazing how short the reset is. I just couldn't justify $1150 price, that's before tax. The only upside would be the fact that I would be one of the few guys in CA with one, at least when I move back. Not necessarily a good reason to buy a gun.

I hope you find one. I REALLY want a 229 Legion. Partly because I love my 229 and think this one would be great, partly because I want the Hinderer knife, and partly because I can not easily have it. If I could get one for retail I wouldn't hesitate, but I wont pay CA prices.
