You all have brought up some very interesting facts!!

As some have said I have planned and do Carry my P-01 as it is on my CCW Permit along with a Shield 40 and my SP-01. Now I do know that I will most likely never Carry the SP-01 so I guess that it is just a spot holder until I have another Carry Gun.

That being said I could send the SP-01 in along with the Slide for the P-01, get the SP-01 done completely and just move the Night Sights from the SP-01 over to the P-01 and keep that one Stock. Am I going to have a problem if one of my Carry Guns is CGW modified and I end up using it?

That would leave me with the 97B to Shoot along with my Shield between now and the end of the year while I wait for them to get back. Then send the 97B after New Year's. That makes the most sense, and that is why it is so hard for me to just decide to do it. What can I say I am a want my cake and eat it kind of Guy!

The Old Me would just send everything and suffer with just having the Shield to Shoot. I am however trying to become more sensible in my Old Age!

      Help!!!!

There is an endless debate on this question so you won't get a straight and reliable answer. In the home, I wouldn't worry at all. Carrying, I'd keep it close to stock to avoid possibility of getting Zimmerman-ed.

The real issue with modified carry guns in CA is that some sheriffs won't allow it, so if you do it you are in violation of their policy and they can revoke your license. In Riverside county sheriff Sniff had a policy of not allowing guns with modified triggers (could've changed, I haven't checked it in a long time.)

97B and SP-01...for all the reasons listed above.

Do the SP01 & P01. You'll probably shoot the 9MM more. The 97B will probably sit in the safe.

Or he could trade you his P01 for his P01 and some cash.
