OK I have a CZ problem, help me decide!!

OK it really is not a problem but I would appreciate some help and feedback on this decision.

I am looking to send some of my CZ's to CGW to get Cajunized. I have a P-01, SP-01 and a 97B. I would love to send then all at once to get all of the Goodies but that just is not in the budget at the moment. I can however afford to send two of them.

The plan is to get the Pro Package for the P-01 and SP-01 and the "E" Conversion for the 97B. Also replacing the Stock Sights on all of them.

So the question is which two? I am leaning toward the two 9mm's P-01 and SP-01 but could be talked into changing my mind, what say you??

Tough call, but I'm going to say send the SP-01 & the P-01.

Only because I have those two and I can then use your results as the justification to send mine someday.

IMO SP-01 and 97B. You'll get a feel for what the CGW mods will feel like on those 2 different handguns. The P-01 will be almost identical to the SP-01 except maybe a tiny bit heavier since its a decocker vs safety (assuming you have the CA safety model)

          97B and SP01.

A tuned 45 and a tuned 9mm are a sweet combo. Why tune the SP01 and not the P01? I guess just my preference. I will tune the decocker pistol last.

            P01 and 97b

I have a few cgw p01 and they are the only gun I like vs my g19 for hd and ccw.

The 97b in single action done up by cgw is a piece of art. It outshoots my 3 to 5k 1911s while costing 1600 ish

i think you can go a bit farther and more extreme tuning the 2 guns that don't have the decocker.

Depends on intended use? CCW P-01 Range pistol Sp-01. If you can afford to sent two then a 9mm of choice and 97B, that way you cover both bases. I myself have a bunch of CZ's and cost quite a bit to cajunized them, but all worth it when it's done, good luck

That 97 did you get it that way "Blued" or did you have it done?

I would send the 97B and the SP-01 if you plan on enjoying these 2 at the range or competition. For home defense or conceal carry, then I would do the P01 and 97B.
Also you don't want to have both 9mm's out for 5-8 weeks and have to only shoot .45's as that will get quite expensive.

The problem is that if you intend to carry, many sheriffs won't let you use a tuned up gun, so CGW P-01 is out for that purpose. Similarly, if you ever intend to compete with any of the guns in production division, CGW is out - you'd get bumped to limited.

Given the above, I'd send 97 and SP-01 and keep P-01 stock for future carry or IDPA. (Disclosure: I got "the works" for my SP-01 including copperhead, but have left my P-01 stock.)

Probably the glossy blue like mine. Op send the 97B, the 1911 bushing mod will accurize the pistol. Here's example of what could be done, I installed a new 85C combat trigger with a pre and over travel set screw, removed the fpb, replaced the fpb lifter arm for a spacer for a short Shadow reset, and smoothed out the fcg, installed adjustable billet sear and hybrid T1 disco from CGW for RRK (Reach Reduction Kit), CZ tactical rear sight, a left hand side Shadow safety, CGW perfection extended firing pin for 97B, 8.5# hammer spring and modified the slide stop on an extended slide release to accept longer OAL bullets for a clear the path for the cartridge to the feed ramp.

I don't carry, so I'd send the SP-01 and the 97B.....and sell the P-01 for cash

I have the 97B with the "E" package.....very sweet shooting, accurate .45, my favorite handgun
I also have a stock SP-01 w/decocker....but I use it as my bedside gun so will likely leave the trigger alone and just let it smooth out naturally.
