    Looking for 9mm ccw recommendations

I am looking for recommendations for a 9mm. I have a Glock 23 with the 9mm conversion, but feel it is to big. I am looking for something small and thin. I would love to get a glock 43, but dont want to spend $1000. My budget is closer to $500.

I'm not sure which platform you 'd prefer but I'll suggest the S&W 39 series of handguns.

They are hard to find and usually go for $600ish, but a Ruger LC9S is about the same size as a G43 and has the best trigger in its class, by far. Otherwise, look at the Shield.

IMHO, you want something in 9mm that is single stack. Single means slightly thinner, less print. Above all, get something with which you are comfortable shooting. Try different guns, rent if you have to.

Stick to the shield unless you want to pay an extra $300 to $500 on a g43 or sig p938.

I have and carried the G23, carry a G36 now, and my "James Bond" gun is a Sig P938.

Really like it. Outstanding piece of kit.

But... the Thumb-safety is something to consider if you are all... GLOCK'd up.

It is very easy to miss in the Manual of arms, and that is not good for CCW/SD carry.

A Shield, w/o the thumb safety, would be an excellent alternative.

Or, go w/ the Sig P938 - and then train enough to incorporate it into your auto-response.

It is a lot like the Serpa CQC holster in that respect.

Kahr cw9. Nice accorate little pistol. Trigger takes some getting use to, but it works, especially if your use to da revolvers

A Kahr PM9 (still on the list) or a MK9 full stainless. IMHO Kahrs have perfect CCW triggers are a little long but very very very smooth with no wall. Did I mention they have very smooth triggers?
