Be sure the person on Gunbroker will ship to California. A lot of people will not. The seller has to fill out some information. Someone else here can probably give you more information.

      Thanks in Advance!!!!
I'd find the gun I want on gunbroker, email the page to my ffl and ask them if they will transfer it for me. They say yes, buy it send your ffl info to gunbroker dealer. Wait till it arrives at ffl and dros.

Be sure to line up your FFL to receive it. When you've bought something, keep good communication going with your FFL and the seller. Let the FFL know when to expect shipment and who it's coming from. If the seller gives you a tracking number, keep the FFL informed.

Some of best deals, hard to find guns, and satisfying sale have been completed on GB (in my experience)...

100% depends on who you are dealing with...

These days things are probably more difficult for CA buyers and sellers - but that's state issues, not Gun Broker members fault...

I've had nothing but good transactions through GB - however, it's been a couple years since I've made a transaction.

Just make sure the seller is okay with shipping to CA, and you know how much your LGS is charging you to receive the item. Shouldnt be any surprises after that unless its off roster

All the info you sought has been posted. I have done a dozen deals using Gb only problem was shotgun stolen from ups in Sylmar while on truck to be delivered to ffl.

Hope I get no surprises, too. Just bought one and am lining up to get another. What a pain in the azz, though.....emailing perhaps 25 different sellers about shipping to Cali and doing sales as Private (vs. Dealer sales involving state taxes). My experience so far is about 40-50% don't want to ship to Cali. I had to beg a couple to change their minds, even having my FFL email them information about Cali/shipping/legality.

Some even say they don't want to deal with a state that infringes on the rights of people....then they turn around and do the same thing by not shipping to Cali. WTF??!!

                  +1

If you're not in a hurry or very particular, you can practically steal some guns.

A couple examples I see occasionally:

                  Decent used Mossberg 500: ~ $100
                  NIB Ruger P95: < $300
I meant, it is my opinion that...

One way around the won't ship to CA crowd is use an out of state middle man to have it shipped to. There is a member that provides that service, but I won't say the name. Search around. Of course, that adds more time and an additional fee.
