Honestly, I think when he meant you're lucky we weren't meeting face to face so I could PTP my broken POS to you for cheap because I broke it and Sig wouldn't warranty it.

You took the frame apart which voids your warranty and then broke the frame when you put it back together and you expect Sig to replace it?

Sig CS has always been fair to me. I had 2 issues with my 1911 and they took care of it on their dime both times. I was so impressed with their CS, that I bought a P220 Match Elite as my last pistol during SSE. Disassembly itself voids the warranty, so better put it back EXACTLY the way it needs to be and don't admit taking it down. And of course we only use factory ammo

I have not seen this problem before. Wow..

I know the magazine catch issue is a serious. If you put it in backward, you will have to drill it out and get a new catch. The instructor at Sig armorer school said it is a royal pain...

Sig. will cover it under warranty because the frame area was thin. I will just get a new serial number because of a new frame it is covered under warranty but I have to dros it again and sig give me a gift certificate for my inconvenience and dros fee. They said it would be 3 to 4 months. And for all the positive people thank you for your support and your suggestions and for everyone else I can't say what I want to because Calguns suppresses my first amendment that's why I was banned for a couple weeks because of my comment to OX but the question is was he band for his comment to me first will never know thanks again

Like I said before... it's hard being a special snowflake.

and you DID put it in backwards... admit it.

I had to talk with the supervisor and He sent me an email with return postage and told me I had to send it in before they would say it was covered or not.

That's a good sign, at least they are going to take a look at the frame. That is a huge improvement from the past...even if they don't replace the frame

Was this the CA version of the P226 Scorpion?

That's good that Sig is helping out. That has always been one of my concerns about Sig, especially since they are all about the CA version of everything even when they didn't have to.

They already told me they would replace the frame and it is going take three or four months and I have to re dros it because of the new serial number in California. Except for rusted pitted barrels on the MK 25's that I had to send in with the slide so they could fit the barrel to the slide. Otherwise I've never had any issues with Sig Sauer and I've been using Sig Products since the late 80s

Glad to hear it's being resolved. What changed between the first post when it sounded like Sig wouldn't help to them now likely fixing it? Did you have to talk to a supervisor? Just curious.
