So I went to my local turners today looking for some cleaning suplies...went to the gun counter and ask if they ever get a Full rail TRP...the sales person said they can order it for $1649 and will take around a month...10 mins later I was pulling out my debit card...now I need to come up with a good excuse to tell the wife

You wanted to protect her and needed a rail gun that you could put a light on for those things that go bump in the night?

NEVER Believe a Turners sales person when they give you a date on an order I know people who waited two years when they were told two months one of them waited 26 months on a Weatherby and I got mine elsewhere in 3 days.

I'm sure it will come , well hopefully you will have in hand soon. If doesn't for some reason and they tell you have to wait a few mos, at least Turners in Pasadena was cool to me when pulled that on a rifle- told me no longer than 2 weeks so I put down deposit, then a week later when I was in there buying supplies manager said no way they getting that rifle for 3 mos- they refunded my full deposit.

But hopefully you'll have your TRP very soon- Congrats!! Love my TRP half rail.

Turners is good about refunding the deposit as long as the DROS hasn't been run. They gave me a refund before.

Full rail TRP is nice to shoot. Strange though how it's listed on Springfield Armory website as same weight of half rail at 45 oz(Empty magazine at 2.81LBS? Yikes!)

How often does Springfield do runs of the full rail?

I'd hate to put money down and be waiting until May next year...

Not sure about the production runs but if you live anywhere near San Gabriel, CA. and don't want to wait a month then you need not wait any longer..
