Well thank you for FINALLY checking back in on your thread with some closure.

Seriously...I would bet half the threads asking for help that get posted never have an update or a solution to their problem ever posted.

Thanks for the update OP. Glad that it is now working out for you. The lube and racking the slide definitely helped IMO.

I personally believe the true cause was the stiff spring because it had happened in my experimentation with my G17 gen 3.
