Well, its going to need work, hence the "Project gun"
One interesting issue is as follows
Cock the pistol (After making sure the gun is empty and pointed in a safe direction )
        Push the thumb safety up/on
Pull the trigger a couple times (Hammer stays back--Good)
        Remove finger from trigger
AND when you push the thumb-safety down, the hammer pops forward to a half-cock position.
A decocker on a 1911??? Not likely and so, we all agreed that it shouldn't do that. Shop decided to knock 20% off the price and I bought it "as is"
New sear being ordered as I have hammers & disconnectors in my parts stash.
I figure to tear it down completely and
        Get it Cerakoted
Assemble it with new parts replacing worn ones
Then take it to a gunsmith to have it reassembled correctly.

A Daily was my 1st 1911 way back when. A little fine tuning and it's a very reliable handgun.

Weren't CD Hi Powers made from US and Hungarian parts, there was an Israeli version? I remember Big 5 had CD shotgun shells.

              Good price, congratulations.
People don't like to be meddled with. We tell them what to do, what to think, don't run, don't walk. We're in their homes and in their heads and we haven't the right. We're meddlesome.
