    Recommendations

    I too would suggest the S&W model 60 three inch. That is what my wife has.
    Excellent to practice with with .38's. If she ever has to shoot for her life, there will be so much adrenalin flowing that she'll never notice the recoil of
    125 grain jacketed hollowpoint .357's. If she must have a semi-auto I would recommend a Sig. in 9mm or .40 S&W. The 9mm can be effecive with the right loads. A 115 grain hollowpoint is a good choice. Whatever she chooses,
    make sure that she gets lots of practice. Also, teach her the proper mindset.
    That is:"I am a valuable person. I will not be a victem or a statistic.If I must shoot, I will shoot to kill and I will not give the intruder a chance, by warning him!"
