2015 VBOB vs 2015 CBOB, Same Pistol? Yes!

Just took delivery of a CBOB.
Complete detail strip and getting ready to break it in. Didn't need to detail strip, everything was spotless, it was nice to see that.
I'm also planning on sending it off to Severans for his Hard Hat treatment. This idea may change however, it's a beautiful pistol! The grips are spectacular as well

Tell me how it goes, I kinda want to do the same but I don't like the bobtail. I however don't like the XSE or Series 80s guns so my option is limited unless I buy used.

I thought the Pointman series don't have front strap checkering.

I always see the PM9 with it, but for some reason the PM7 doesn't have it....weird. It should have it!

So, I contacted Keith Lawton at Dan Wesson....
... He says, "All our current guns use the same components and are fitted in the same fashion. The VBOB, just has more checkering, duty finish and better sights..."

Anyways, with that said, I feel like a fool that I spent a premium on my VBOB as I think my CBOB looks better anyways. Plus, the CBOB is tighter.

I celebrated my first handgun purchase back in... well, some years before you arrived here on Earth - Guns been coming & going ever since, but I STILL can't decide which hits hardest - Buyers Remorse, or Sellers Remorse - or maybe "I Didn't BUY It" Remorse... or the less-common "I Didn't SELL It" Remorse.

Any of those can poison your thoughts, and DESTROY the thrills of a deal, the satisfaction of ownership!! (or lack thereof?)

I'm surprised that nobody has stepped up to take one for the team and take that over-priced VBOB off your hands, to relieve you of the anguish... the burden of Buyer's Remorse currently afflicting you. I just hate, HATE! the thought of you beating yourself up over this deal, so I guess it falls to me...
