    Browning Hi Power 9mm

Would be interesting to hear what people think of the first 9mm pistol I bought ( long time ago lol) . How does a typical Belgium/Portugal 9mm Hi Power compares to other full size service 9mm pistols available today. ?

You won't find many people disputing that the BHP is a fantastic gun. However it's been overshadowed by the CZ75, which is modeled after the BHP and both more affordable and more popular.

Can't argue those points. But never selling my hi power. Guess it's like fine wine.

          BHP wins
I have Glock, CZ and Smith & Wesson 9mm's The BHP IMHO is still the most comfortable and natural pointing handgun that I own.

                Yup, BHP Rules.

The most Iconic, battle-proven, Hi Capacity 9mm Autoloader of the past 80 years.

Nothing comes close to that time-lined legacy owned by the BHP.

Not Glock, HK, Sig, no Walther; for sure no CZ....

Nothing comes close to the legendary BHP.

I have two of them and they would be the last pistols to go if I had to sell them all off.
                      They are fantastic pistols.

Why do you care what other people think about a gun you have owned for many years? The only thing that matters is what you think of the gun since you own it. Have you shot it enough to form an opinion?

It is really a classic. I got my clone a month ago. The best $300 I spent on a pistol.

The pistols for me that would have to literally be pried from my cold dead hands would be my BHP and my Beretta 92G-SD.

So true, I've owned a few Hi Powers in my time, great guns...just feel right. Don't own them any more as I shrunk down my collection to only guns I shoot or have a very specific need for.
