            I was buying a gun via PPT at turners in pasadena about a month ago and they had the springfield on sale for $899.... I couldn't resist. I like it a million times better than the gun i was ppt'ing(CZ P09).

            I'd definitely choose the springfield 1911 over the kimber, one reason being kimber has series 80s components.
