Here's a nice thread on a regional forum with plenty of video links: http://oceansidepistol.com/forum/index.php?topic=83.0

If you want something more structured, I like Matt Burkett's DVDs. You can rent them here:

You can practice reloads in your garage. I've seen a guy set a cardboard box on a stool in front of him to catch his fallen mags. He just reloads and reloads from his game belt. Pretty simple, really. Just remember to start and end with sights on target.

ETA: Found the link to the thread/vid of the guy's garage dryfire & reload routine: http://www.brianenos.com/forums/inde...yfire+practice
I practice over my bed. Less distance to lean over and pick them up, softer on the mags, too.

If you are going into competition... your mags WILL get dropped.... so get a lot of them...

I personally use a Glock, their magazines are pretty bulletproof.... I wouldn't feel bad about dropping them....

I do feel sorry for my hardwood floor tho....

Actually, if you watch the linked vid, the guy attaches a cardboard box to a stool, then places a towel in the cardboard box to soften the landing for dropped mags. The whole set-up is high enough that he doesn't even have to bend over to take the mags out of the box.

At work, I sometimes practice reloads over the sofa in the office.

              gamers!!! :-)

its' good you wanna practice your reloads.. its all part of the process for saving time here and there.. all those seconds add up at the end of the day..

All the videos are good, but something else you can try is to video yourself performing reloads.. You can catch a lot of things you normally wouldnt think of.. Yes, it'll feel funky but it really does help..
