So i sold my handun to help fund a birthday party, I already have an itch to replace it.... it was a 9mm xd any opinions on what i should go with next? My budget is in the 500$ range

Join a local Facebook gun group. Someone will post something up for $500 that is a good deal. Better prices than here.

if concealability is important... a Shield in 9mm is the sweetspot in size, performance and price....
Full size.... used S&W M&P, A plethora of Glock combos to choose from....
