    need help swapping Glock sights...

Hey guys, anyone in the San Fernando/Santa Clarita/Simi Valley areas that would be willing to help me swap around sights on my Glock 17 & 19? I'd be willing to pay a little $$ for your time. I was hoping to have it done Friday (8/21).

    Thanks!
    Dave...

If you want to do it yourself, I'll lend you my sight pusher. You just need to pay for shipping since I'm in NorCal (and promise to return it).

Buy the front sight socket driver off of eBay for 6.00, buy a brass drift punch from harbor freight for 2.00 and then watch a YouTube Glock sight removal and install video for free. Just be sure if you are installing after market sights and you need to file it to fit be sure to file the sight dove tail and not the slide.

I realize the front sight tool and a drift punch are inexpensive items. I'm trying to get the sights installed tomorrow (8/21) so eBay doesn't really help me much there. For what ever reason, there isn't a shop that sells the front sight tool within a 100 mile radius :/

And much appreciation to GRYFF, what an awesome offer! We have a lot of very cool folks here on the CG forum! I knew it would be a long shot, was just hoping to have the sights installed prior to the weekend...

I may be able to help you. I have a Sight Pro, with a Glock shoe, however I don't have the angled Glock rear sight pusher. If you are installing something like Tru Glo TFO or TFX, its no problem. If you are installing something with angled edges like the original Glock sights, it probably won't work. Drop me a PM and we can discuss.
