If you read the note he made in his video, he noted it wasn't a heat issue after all. Apparently he's had it inside his air conditioned home for a few days and it's still flexing bad.

Some urbanite yuppie with an FN pistol is going to have a panic attack after seeing this video. He will definitely be worried about the pistol's reliability in extreme environments, even though his FN only sees the light of day in an indoor range 100 rounds a year.

I hope so. His concerns would be valid and urgent, so the best course of action would be to sell it to some unsuspected idiot... such as me .

My fnx has soft plastic, doesn't squishy but it is a bit soft. Hard stiff plastic would be my xds that thing feels solid as heck. With that being said fnx tactical is still my favorite piece.

Seems like super stiff polymer would be more brittle and prone to cracking.

I have had an FDE FNX-45T since last year and it's been 100% reliable. No way could you compress my magwell like the one linked in the OP. Not sure what's going on with that gun...

The FNX and or the FNX Tactical was one of my unicorns. But after watching this youtube video of how soft it is, well. no.
