What 1911 is that?

I remember seeing a super sleek 3" 1911 like a year ago in a magazine and thinking "DAYUM that's sexy".

All I remember is it was 3" barrel and most importantly the rear sight was machined into the slide like an M&P 340.

Hope you can help me remember!

I bet I could hit consistently (realistically) with that trench sight at 50 yards, since it's so sexy I would have to take it out every week and become proficient

I have the Defender and love it. Don't see much benefit of giving up the Novak style sights from either the accuracy or concealment perspectives.

Very nice and with not much practice it can be hip shot into center mass consistantly.

The trech site only took a few magazines to "get the hang of it." And it is pretty accurate at the 25 yard range.

I have one that I CCW'd for 6 years and qualified with no problem at 25 yards off hand.
They are accurate if the shooter does their part. Like any carry firearm, practice makes you proficient.

I still carry it since moving to Idaho.
