HK LEM triggers on various models

Recently I got to try out a friend's P30 with an LEM trigger. Boy that was seriously sweet. It was like a DA pull but with close to a SA weight on the first shot, and a very nice short reset for follow ups.

My question is, are the HK LEM triggers just as sweet with the other HK models like the USP and P2000SK, and question two is, are they available for us slobs in CA? If not, hopefully there's a way to convert it to that. I wouldn't mind an P2000SK with an LEM trigger!

It made a world of difference on my HK45, though I still don't like how sloppy it feels. You can buy the LEM conversion for any of their pistols, in fact I think a lot of them are interchangible?

Yes the LEM is available in USP, P30, P2000 and HK45.

There are two trigger pull weights the normal LEM and Light LEM.

Most USP, P2000 and HK45 can go from DA/SA (with or without safety or decocker capability) can go to LEM and back with a kit. HERE: http://www.hkparts.net/shop/pc/HK-LE...stols-p316.htm

The P30 V3 DA/SA with Decocker has a different frame than the LEM P30, so you would have a hole where the Decocker is if you went LEM.

There is also a Match/LEM hyrbid, you need to get the LEM kit and install it's hammer and parts associated with the hammer. Leave the Match trigger shoe, flat spring, firing pin block spring, and trigger return spring.

If you have a early USP 9mm a slight mod is required to the frame, cut the right side of the safety hole, a new trigger bar, and a safety catch. All are very easy to accomplish with a razor knife and a Dremel. Google LEM conversion there is a dealer that sells a conversion kit for 89.00. If you need help with a early 9mm conversion pm me

I don't have any HKs yet, but it's been in my thoughts for several months now, particularly the USP 45 and the P2000SK in 40 . If I were to do this it'd probably be for the P2000SK if I ever buy one. If I get a full size USP I'll just keep in the normal DA/SA mode (or at most just do a little polishing of the action).
