    PM7 vs SA Trophy Match

Talk me into one or the other.

    Price difference doesn't matter
Biggest pro for the SA is the front strap checkering, mag well = "meh"
"He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog.

I like my PM7, the front checkering is very aggressive and keeps vertical movement to a minimum. However after 200 rounds your fingers turn into jerky.

Gotta say it, the DW is the one you want.

I have no experience with the Dan Wesson, but the Trophy Match has been a great gun, 12,000+ rounds through mine so far.

I prefer front strap checkering too. I still would go DW tho.

Never had a DW, but sold my SA Trophy Match after a few months. Just wasn't as built as well as the price attached. The Range Officer I bought years before was hands down better in every respect (other than being Parkerized vs SS). Having owned a lot of SA 1911's, it seemed a more polished Loaded model than anything else.

If you can get one at a decent price, I would go for the PM7. SA Trophy Match is nice, but pretty common. You don't see many PM7s and everyone who has em raves about them.

Did it come with front strap checkering from the factory?

Edit: looks like the PM7 now has front strap checkering. Well that solves it OP, no need for a Springfield.

Isn't that what always happens? My favorite is taking my car in for service and then getting a coupon in the mail the NEXT day.
