    XD9 Subcompact

That's my 'little' gun for CCW.

Kahr CW9 for me. Very underrated, even though it's a DA trigger it's one of the best I've shot, very accurate, and I've never had an issue in almost 1,000 rounds. I got mine for $350 new.

The soviets didnt need an LCI or Mag disconnect

aim surplus $239 just add the wolff springs for $10 i recommend the 18# hammer spring* the DA is like 26 # spring stock so it must be changed due to soviets using submachine gun ammo in it. Please note P64 has a european mag release.

J&G has them in good condition $199 with 1 mag

all metal gun shoots great. Insane accurate. Under $300 OTD

otherwise check the for sale section for a Sig P6/226, they rock but a few bucks more.
Nice deal. Clearly not on roster tho correct?

It is exempt from the roster because it is C&R eligible.

          Turner's often has them.

I usually carry my G26 gen 4 due to size. I am looking into the shield though. The 26 is accurate and works like any glock. It conceals well for a double stack. Yet, my G30S in 45 is much more easy to shoot. G26 9mm has a slight snap. It's not that noticeable but very noticeable after shooting a full sized G17 (I would think a G27 would be much worse in 40 S&W sub compact). The other irritation is the pierce extend grip on G26. It can pinch the pinky finger. The G30s is more the size of a G19, but fits my hand well with the SF grip and the push of the 45 is much smoother than the slight snap of the nine along with plenty of stopping power (my favorite glock purchase besides the G17 gen 4). All that being said, the G26 is a very capable gun and carries 10 rounds for a subcompact. I would like to try out the shield. A safety for me is a plus for a CCW gun, and the single stack profile is probably more comfortable. Suppose I will need to shoot one to see if worth a purchase. Yet, I still use and probably will continue to use the G26 for a while as a EDC summer gun (its a good gun - but spring time or camping G30S is my all time favorite CCW gun).

If you decide on a Shield.... keep shopping, there are non-california ones available PPT.

I like the Shield, but the pricing seems to be around $650-$700.00 for a
                      non-California one.

The M&P 9c is another excellent choice if you can find a PPT since they are off roster.

I have a Kahr p9 on the ccw it is a nice pistol . I tried the Shield and it is a way nicer to shoot pistol than any other in its class. I have been able to try them all. The loaded chamber indicator is no big deal.

Very good option. between the Shield and the G26/27, the only advantage the Shield has is that it's thinner and cheaper, every other aspect of the two guns favors the Glock.
