    Would you rather??

Buy an XDS 3.3 45 or an XDS 45 4.0. Or does it really matter??

Yeah I'd get the 3.3 in 9mm. The 45 might have some bite with the smaller barrel

I have 9mm already. Looking for something a little different and better for the outdoors.

Of course between the two options you have to make up another =P

I would go with the 4.0. I think the gun will balance out better
Selling lots of Pistol brass, lots of 38 and 44 mag!

I looked at the 4.0 when I bought my .45, but went with the 3.3 because I wanted the gun as small as possible for concealed carry. I already owned the 9mm in 3.3, and was really happy with the gun.

It's probably easier to find an XDs than a G43 in this state since SSE is gone.

...and until I get the problems worked out with my G42 I don't trust the single stack Glocks yet.

The 3.3 is the way to go for CC. Lighter and smaller. As much love as I have for my Glock 30s (3.77"brl), the XD-s 3.3 is so much easier to carry, especially during shorts-wearing months. IWB, pocket holster, or any other location you decide to carry it, you will almost forget it's there.

Depending on what type of shooter you are, the benefits of having a 4" barrel might be negligible.

Don't pay any attention to the 9mm fairies. Even my daughter carries an XD-s 45 3.3

4.0 as it is barely bigger than the 3.3.

4.0 if you carry on your hip. 3.3 if you are going to try to pocket carry or appendix carry.

less muzzle flip with the 4.0 and better velocity.

Xds 3.3 is a great gun.
