Yes, the full length rail version is legal. There's the Springfield TRP Operator with the full rail or the Springfield Loaded MC Operator with the full rail. They no longer make them in the full length rails anymore though so if you find one for sale, you're gonna have to pay some big bucks for them as the demand for those things have grown. The new versions of both don't come with the full rails anymore.

One 1911 for every 2 other pistols is a good ratio

On top of that 1911's should only be in the great .45 ACP, A Fusion Longslide 1911 is next on my list.

If you have friends that are LEO they can purchase (bypass the DROP) and then PPT to you.

^^^That is a nice 1911, very nice. I just don't like the sights. I have no idea what it is, but adjustable sights turn me off. Gotta have fixed for me.

I'm four 1911's to my two wheel guns, which I feel to be a MORE correct ratio

I really want the lightweight operator but Springfield will be out for a LOOOONG time.
Replying to craigslist for casual encounters is like pokemon with STDs. Gotta catch em all
If Hell ever needed a operations manual all it would need is a copy of California's laws

Why will it be a long time? Are they only making limited quantities of the lightweight operator?
