Same here. It's almost 7pm, and I'm still working. Probably be working until 8pm and then head home.

I think Calif 15-22 has you beat. I think he owns 10 VP9s!

Yeah. Thank goodness for out of state intra-family transfers. Otherwise I'd probably move.

The VP9 trigger to me was bad ... and compared to the PPQ was pure junk.
Light triggers are the respite of shoddy marksmen with poor trigger control....

Sounds like me with my P226's. I think I have 15 or more... including 4 non CA featured mk25's (three NIB). You can never have enough of a good thing. I should have bought a couple PPQ's but I was late to the SSE bandwagon.

Is that why Jerry Miculek has a sub-3 pound trigger mod on his custom MP 9 Core?

You should show him how a real man shoots Ronin.

He's a "speed / trick" shooter....what would you expect?? Its how he makes his living these days. Would you CCW a gun with that light of a trigger? Go into combat with one? I wouldn't.

This state has sucked the life force out of the gun owners and it's only gonna get worse. I'd HATE to have to choose what guns I can or can't buy here anymore. Good riddance Kommifornia!

He's not just a "trick shooter", he's a super skilled, accurate, marksman with a pistol. Anyone who can hit a target 1000 yards away with a handgun has got mad skills dawg. Don't hate the playa.

As for going into "combat", I honestly think a handgun is irrelevant. In 3 years in Afghanistan for OEF-A, I never fired a round in anger from my service pistol.

As for CCW'ing a light trigger, I currently do, and have no problem doing so. I have a 3.5 pound trigger on my Glock 27, and guess what? After 1.5 years of carrying it, I've never pumped a round into my leg. Funny how knowing how your weapon works and practice makes a huge difference in safety.

Six and a half million of California's seven million gun owners are to blame themselves. I say 6.5 million because there are 500,000 NRA members in the state, most of I would assume, also vote republican for the most part in state elections. The other 6.5 million? I guess they are saving the $35 annual NRA membership to "invest" in .22 ammo PLUS they gotta not be voting or voting Democrat.

I wholeheartedly agree. That said, one should remember that the "simplicity" of the Glock system appeals not only to knowledgeable and trained professionals and civilians alike but even more so to "simpletons" of the gun world...

I was at Poway range and saw that for $720...kinda shocked to see a non $8-900 HK. It handled pretty well and dry fire trigger pull was crispy while comfy grip. I just got a P01 from DGM, they had them for $580 so I gave in.

I think the P2000 might be next on the list and break me out of the seemingly addictive CZ lust. $650 is a heck of a price and cheaper than riflegear!!

I actually had a VP9 non-LE, and a PPQ M2. Shot them both side by side, and knew immediately which one I wanted to keep. Sold the VP9 for $200 over what I bought it for though, so thank you hype train!
yea I had a VP9, that I shot side by side with my PPQ, Sphinx, and Sig P320, guess which one is the ONLY one I don't own anymore? Yea I sold it for prob similar price as you.

DGM sold me my P2000 for $649........ Turners has $100 off all HK's this week, and Turners reg price for P2000 is $749, so DGM matched. I wanted a sub 4" barrel 9mm that was both light and robust, but which also fits my hands. The P-01 was on the list (i've already had one), but the P2000 is lighter, sleeker, and has a tiny bit longer grip. The P2000 also has more slide to grip.

Not a fair nor objective test.

The VP9 greatness was hampered by having you as the shooter.
