I love both my xds in 45 and 9 . Like Dee_Dub said, their last promotion with 3 free mags did help me in my decision to get another one.

Get a glock 36. The xds isn't worth the off roster prices

Love mine it's the bi-tone in .45 yeah be prepared to pay I hunted my bi-tone one when the first came out. Love it and won't sell plus side for you is some people don't quite love it. So you more than likely will find one. Quick question to those who have one. Mine came with a polished feed ramp from factory is this standard?

Mine also had a polished feed ramp. I just traded my Bitone .45 3.3" for a Sig P227 Carry Nitron with night sights, just couldn't pass up the deal. Hopefully next year birthday I can ask pops out of state for a XDS 45 Essentials - cheaper than the model with all the gear so he just might get it for me.

OP I don't know where you currently live but you may be able to find a CalGunner you will let you shoot their XDS. I have one if you are near Fresno.
Love mine but they are not for everyone.

You can put an add in the WTB section. THat's an option or just watch the WTS section (that's what I did). I picked up an XDs 9mm (3.3) here by watching the adds. I paid $850 which isn't cheap but I wanted it bad and it came with a nice case and FIVE magazines which is nice.

If you do get one check the recoil spring assembly because mine was pretty chewed up and I bought a new one straight from Springfield ~ 40 bucks.
