I wish I could be there when you do.
I have shot some heavily modified Glocks in the past and to be honest, I didn't see the added value that the extra work provided.
It is already a pricey situation to add new sights, a new barrel, an uncaptured guide rod, and a trigger kit. Even after all of that, the Glock doesn't feel worlds better than stock. I am not a big fan of stipling since it is irreversible and many gun games don't allow it.Last edited by himurax13; 04-15-2015, 5:37 PM.Originally posted by BumslieHK - the best 600 dollar gun, 900 dollars can buy.Originally posted by SleighterGetting legal advice from a gun salesman, is like getting medical advice from a janitor at a hospital. Well once this arrives I can give some personal/subjective thoughts compared to my other stock Glocks. I can totally agree with you that its definitely not a cheap investment.I wish I could be there when you do.

I've been eyeing Agency too for a fun gun.
The guy in their youtube videos used to be all about Salient, I remember some of his old videos, so maybe he struck off on his own?
OP - Looks great! Any reason you went with their field version over their hybrid and urban?Comment

I've gotten used to the stock Glock trigger over time, but from a noob's standpoint it has a lot of slack that needs to be taken up initially, then there is that predictable wall and I would say there is a little bit of over travel. A very nice audible and felt reset. I'm not really into working on guns, but if I could I would change the trigger to be a tad lighter and remove the initial slack/takeup.
Once I get this Agency Arms Glock in I will report back on how this trigger feelsComment

I've gotten used to the slack, but I prefer little to no slack... Preference I guess?Originally posted by HopetonBrownWhat's wrong with slack? That's what trigger prep is for.
Overtravel. How do you describe overtravel?
You can't hear or feel the resent when you're running the trigger fast.
Over travel as in once the trigger breaks there seems to be a tad bit of excess movement. (Once again this is from a noobs standpoint)
maybe I dont shoot fast enough at the speed your talking, but I can feel the trigger reset.Comment

As long as you are running a polymer trigger, you will have overtravel due to the trigger flexing. I prefer a clean breaking trigger and a positive reset over messing with the pre and post travel adnistments.Originally posted by BumslieHK - the best 600 dollar gun, 900 dollars can buy.Originally posted by SleighterGetting legal advice from a gun salesman, is like getting medical advice from a janitor at a hospital. Well to be quite honest I figured if I ever can get my hands on a CCW that I'd like one without windows to prevent any snagging. However, after I get this Field version in I plan on sending in my 17 for the Urban treatment.
Regarding the guy in the videos. I wasn't aware of that, but over the past 7 weeks I've had a chance to talk to a lot of the Agents there and the guys at Agency all have very diverse backgrounds of experience and I'm told have many many years in the industry
Good to know, I wasn't aware that it was due to the material of the trigger (once again a big noob). I have read some stories of light primer strikes and bad resets due to messing with the pre/post travel adjustments, which I discussed in great details with the guys there, and they assure me that I will have no issues. Apparently all the parts are OEM in the trigger except the shoe. I know some like that extra slack in the beginning so to each their own, but I just prefer very little to no pretravel.Comment

Awesome! The pricing for me was 1400. Just an FYI they do offer a la carte options.
They should have test fired either today or tomorrow and I requested more photos. SO hopefully I can update this with more photos!Comment
