I've never had issues with their 9mm reloads but my SA TRP operator doesn't really like the 230gr reloads.

Broken half stayed in chamber and came out easily with gravity.
my ar9 shot their remans with out any issues, after these.
I also just saw and posted in another thread regarding this. I'm done with freedom munitions.

I'm done with Freedom Munitions as well. In a recent 124gr Reman purchase (lot #22515-17998-129-68-62; purchased about 3 months ago), I have had 4 light primer strikes and 4 rounds with the bullet pushed and crimped too short - OAL was way too short. Sucks that the light primer strikes were during matches. I think I will stick with Serge reloads from now on until I get my Dillon 550 set up.

While at a shooting academy I noticed some people having terrible trouble with their 9mm XD's. They were all shooting Freedom Ammo. I've never seen so many Type 3 Malfunctions and FTE in my life out of a well maintained reliable pistol. They swore they'd never shot the stuff again.

All these horror stories makes me wonder if I'm just lucky or what. I've shot literally thousands of rounds of 115/124 new and reman as well as 230 45acp and have NEVER had a FTE or any problems whatsoever. I shoot Sigs and XD's mainly, but have shot other guns as well with it and no problems at all.

I will say my buddy shot some out of his Glock and he had 1 FTF, but then again, he had feeding issues with every type of ammo he fed it.

                    This is exactly my experience.

The only problems I have seen were my friend's Glock wouldn't feed their .45 acp.......funny though, it worked fine when I put it through my Kimber.

That's crazy. Maybe I have been lucky also. Shot another 500 rounds this week including defensive training and for qualifications on CCW. Shot their 115 reloads and .45. Not one problem and accurate.

I'm in the same boat. Thousands of new and reman FM loads, 115, 124, 147 9mm, both RN and hollowpoints, and 230 RN in .45. Only hiccup I've had was a weird stovepipe/failure to chamber on the first magazine through a brand new CZ 97B. I blame the new pistol, not the ammo. Once I cleared that I've had nothing but happy shooting.

That said, my brother ordered a box of reloaded 115 grain XTPs from Freedom and a few of the 50 rounds had pretty significant cracks in the case. I'll try to get some pictures from him. Waiting to hear what they say.

I figure I'll continue to use them until I experience an issue, and reserve judgment until that time. Can't beat the price for range ammunition.

I'm in the same boat. I have shot thousands of freedom 55gr .223 Ball ammo, and 115gr 9mm FMJ, .45acp 230gr FMJ, and a LOT of .223 VMAX without incident. The only thing I have ever shot that didn't feed well was a JHP .45acp that I bought 500 rounds of, and it had issues in my custom 1911. That gun tends to like everything, but it was getting hung up on the feed ramp for whatever reason.

Whelp, having said what I said above, I won't be using Freedom again. Their customer service response to my brother was "Thanks for the pictures. We'll pass them along to QC." No offer to replace or take it back and refund his money.

That's too bad. More your loss than theirs since they are pretty much the lowest cost ammo available and it runs perfectly in all my guns, so luckily I'll continue buying it and chewing it up.

Agreed. To an extent. I've personally not had issue with anything from them, aside from some exceeding long ship times on occasion-- like over a month. However, it isn't like this is a matter of opinion. He paid money for a product, and Freedom didn't deliver. Nor did they offer to refund his money in exchange for their product back. He hasn't shot anything from this box, so Freedom wouldn't be out anything. It's only $20, but that should be irrelevant.

All that said, I can buy 1000 124 grain, brass-cased Blazer rounds for only about $10 more than the same from Freedom once shipping is figured in. I see lots of 'Freedom...' threads lately, but not one about Blazer/CCI. Now, I realize any manufacturer will have issues at one point or another. And if people say "X brand is perfect" they're lying.

I'm not getting into a pissing match over it. I hope most people continue to have good luck with Freedom. I choose to take my business elsewhere. Should they make things right with my brother I'd probably continue to buy from them.
