What's skip loading?

Sounds like leaving some of the charging holes empty to catch the shooter flinching on an empty chamber.

+1 on American Eagle 357 mag JSP. PMC (almost typed "pms"!) 357 mag JSP is also VERY accurate out of my guns. I don't get very good accuracy with the 125 grain ammo out of my guns.

When you skip load besure and fill the all the holes some with loaded ammo and some with empty brass other wise you will cheat yourself.

If it's just going to be for range use, go with 158 gr semi-jacketed wadcutters. They're not as hot as the full strength 125 grain JHP. Personally I can only take so much of the full-magnum recoil of those hot loads. The 158 grainers are great for range use or bullseye shooting.

I prefer to shoot Fiocchi .357 mag out of my revolver. Really hot ammo, sometimes it burns your face. And it produces quite a flash.

If you ever get to a gun show, I've shot that stuff by "Miwall" before and he does good work. I've never had trouble with any of his stuff...

...but, yes, you will have fun reloading, if you get into it. You can pick your own loads and taylor them to your liking. You can modify your bullet's energy, muzzle velocity, accuracy and (most importantly, IMHO) consistency...

You'll pay for your initial investment in no time...
