Need help finding Left Eject handgun

I'm trying to locate a full ambi handgun on the CA roster. I prefer it to have ambi slide release and clip release. I'm more interesting in finding one that has a left shell case eject. I appreciate any help.

I doubt you will find a semi auto with left eject. Not quite sure why that would matter. The HK VP 9 has very good lefty ergonomics with lefty slide release and mag release. It's not on the roster but then again fewer and fewer quality handguns are....

I'm a lefty and pretty much any CA list semi-auto pistol works for me except for Sigs with a decocker and 1911's with a right side safety only. Can't think of a pistol that ejects out the left side. If there is I doubt it's on the list anyways and it doesn't really matter much. You can adapt.

I don't know of any modern pistols that eject to the left.

I had a Sig P226 that you could switch the magazine release to either side of the frame. Also the Walter P99 has an ambi mag release.

Perfect. I like Berettas - the decocker is easier to use and they eject up - trajectory over my head and to the right.

The mag release is easier to use with trigger finger on most guns. Sigs as mentioned are a little harder to master. None of it is hard.

Also - you can swap mag release on a lot of guns, bugt why? If you want to shoot a friends gun - it'll be stock. Learn to use the controls. I guarantee most work easier for lefties.. in stock configuration...

The FN FNS and FN FNX are great guns. I know a lefty that uses the FNS-9 with no problems.

FNS and FNX are off roster though, some pop up in the CG marketplace.

If you go off roster (limiting you to face to face transactions) then HK VP9, P30, FN FNS, and FN FNX are your best ambi choices.

HKs are 9mm only, for .45 the FNX is really the only ambi I can find.

Walther P-38/P-1 are both C&R and are roster exempt.

This is my Walther P-1 notice where the extractor is? If is a vary fun gun to shot and it freaks the people out standing to the left of you when they get hit with brass.

The P-38's are from the Second War and are made of all steel. But because they are from the war time they are priced high for collector reasons. The P-1's where made after the war all the way into the '80's and are made with an alloy frame. They found out that they could break and updated them. If you get a P-1 be sure to get one that looks like mine. The two things you are looking for are the hex pin and the slide serrations that go in front of the safety.

+1 for XD's for this Lefty. Ambi mag release, and I use my left index finger for the slide release.
I did have a left hand bolt action Ruger M77 30/06 when I was a youngster. Only "real" left hander I ever owned!

I'm a leftie but shoot with the right hand. I do like the option though to shoot a full ambi gun.
So far, the VP9 was been the easiest to shoot left handed.

any of the H&K line still on the list. (several 9, 40, and 45 from sub compact to full size) all are already ambi mag release. also if you get a model that has safety/decock on left and want them on the right, you can switch out controls to opposite side, H&K have part kits that make them fully lefty. Kits are cheep and work great. Any competent gun smith can change them out or you can yourself if you are handy with such things, or you can ship it back to H&K and they will do it. Their customer service is excellent.
You may hear a few gripes about the H&K price tag, but you will never hear anyone complain about the quality of craftsmanship, accuracy or reliability of an H&K. VERY nice hand guns.

The roster has taken out about 90% of any of all decent pistols we had, and like 98% of the good Ambi guns we almost had access to.
